Looking for something fun to do with the family this Labor Day weekend? Consider stopping by the Yorkville Hometown Days Festival!
The 25th Annual Yorkville Hometown Days will take place from September 1 – 3 at Beecher Park, off of Game Farm Road. Hosted by Yorkville Parks and Recreation and First National Bank, it is a great way for the community to come together for a weekend of entertainment, delicious food, and good ole fashioned fun.
There’s something for everyone of all ages, from carnival rides for the little ones to a rum & vodka tent for the adults. On Saturday and Sunday from 1pm – 5pm, unlimited carnival ride wristbands can be purchased for $20.
The Yorkville Junior Women’s Club is also hosting a craft fair on the festival grounds, and there will be a bag contest (Baggapalooza) for teams of two to compete to win cash prizes!

- Ultimate Air Dogs Competition: Fri: 5pm – 7pm; Sat: 12pm-6pm; Sun: 1pm-5pm
- Carnival Rides: Fri: 5pm – 10pm; Sat: 1pm – 10 pm; Sun: 1pm – 9:30pm
- Touch-A-Truck: Sat :12pm – 4pm
- Junior Women’s Fall Craft Show: Sat: 12pm – 6pm; Sun: 11am – 6pm
- Baggapalooza: Sat: 12pm – 4pm
- Black Dog Distillery Rum & Vodka Tasting: Sat: 2pm – 5pm
Food Vendors include: Homeplate Hotdogs, Fried and and Fabulous Concessions, Pepe’s, Rosati’s, and Mr. Salty’s Kettle Corn.
Musical acts will be performing throughout the weekend, with performances by some of the area’s most well-known local artists and bands. Some of the more notable musical guests are: Yorkville Big Band, Jennie Williamson, I Am They, Ethan Bell Band, Whiskey Romance, Mike & Joe, 7th Heaven, and Hi-Infidelity.
