The Idea team is excited to announce that we have officially moved our headquarters!
Our brand new office is located just blocks from our previous location in Yorkville, and we couldn’t be happier with the move.
Unlike our former office, which featured an open office design, our new space has separate two-person office spaces to foster collaboration and accommodate continued company growth. The team has enjoyed personalizing their offices and it’s been fun to see how everyone chooses to express themselves and customize their own space!
Our new office also boasts a large conference room with a projector to allow for private client meetings, company wide meetings, and smaller team meetings. A huge thank you to Rustic Elements Furniture for the gorgeous custom wood conference tables (pictured below). They’re definitely a step up from the ping pong table we used in our old office!
The best part of our new office is that we got to design it from the ground up! This move has been months in the making, and we’d like to thank everyone who helped make it possible. Including:
- Van Duzor Construction, whose team completed the office buildout and worked tirelessly to bring our concept for the space to life.
- Mark Lazzara and his team at Rust-Oleum, who installed our beautiful concrete floors.
- LuxeWall for our wood accent wall that really helps add a modern feel to the space.
We’d also like to give a special shoutout to Sherri Farley from the Yorkville Chamber of Commerce for introducing us to Jeff Downs with Old Second Bancorp. Otherwise we would have never even known the space was available! And another shoutout to Nick Weis with Third Day Commercial Real Estate for helping with our property search when we first began looking for a space, and Matt Dennison with Midland States Bank for helping us turn our dream of an office of our own into a reality. We also can’t forget to thank Paul Auten from The Trailer Guy Storage for saving us in a pinch with last minute deliveries.
And of course, a huge thank you to our friends, family, and the entire Idea team for their help and endless support. None of this would be possible without all of you!
To celebrate the move, we’re hosting a dual chamber ribbon cutting event with both the Oswego and Yorkville chambers of commerce on Friday, June 22. We’ll post more information when it gets closer, but we’d love to see you all there to say thank you in person and welcome you to our new location!
It’s definitely a big change from our former location, and we’re all loving the new space! Browse the photos below for a behind-the-scenes look at 46 Saravanos Drive.
